Northwest Florida has for centuries been held by only few daring pioneers and their families. The legacies and vernaculars live on preserving history, natural landscape, and waterways. But to accommodate the perpetual increase in population along our small island style peninsula may require latent technology. What ever happened to the highway in the sky? After the railroad and advancement in automotive engineering, the sonic boom of the Concord; could man not come up with a better system of transportation? I think it was buried with some of the visionaries of the 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s,.
